Heel Me....

I hope everyone has had a great start to the week and is keeping warm. It is snowy here in KY and according to the weather it isn't going to be warm anytime soon.

A few weeks ago I purchased a pair of the Tory Burch Reva flats and I have only worn them a few times. I had heard such great things and was expecting these shoes to be fabulous. I wore them to work one day and to the mall soon there after and the shoes will not stay on my feet. I thought, "OMG" these shoes are sitting in the box and I am not excited to wear them.

Black Reva with silver topper

So on Sunday I told myself that I had to do something, so I went to Rite-Aid (ended up leaving with the new In-Touch gossip mag with Kourtney Kardashian on the cover too) and purchased a few dfferent options to help with the heel slippage that I am having. I even asked one of the sales people their opinion and they thought I was batty so I compared a few and ended buying all of the options I had pulled off the shelf. I left Rite Aid so excited that I had been pro-active in finding a "maybe solution" (because normally I wouldn't have even thought twice about it and I wouldn't have worn them) but I forgot them in my car and I keep forgetting to bring them in (its too cold to go out if it is not necessary).

Project #1:
Insert heel grips in (almost) new shoes.

Maybe if I like these inserts Dr. Scholl's will want me to do a product review or something (hahaha). I can always hope. I will be sure to post about how well these grippy things grip the back of my heels.

I know that I have posted about the BF's dog before. I guess you could say that Hagan (the dog) and I have gotten to be somewhat of friends. In the beginning she didn't care for me and the feeling was definately mutual. I think Hagan and I have gotten to the point where we have an understanding and we are civil (she still barks and I still get skiddish, I think that is her way of saying, "I'm still #1).

Even though we had a rough start, Hagan is like any other girl and she loves to have her picture taken. I snapped this photo of her and her dad this weekend.

He is such a proud Dad!

CATS game tonight, GO BIG BLUE!
Happy Tuesday
Love, MKH

Maybe that's what I need to do with my Revas. Try some foot cushions. My friends SWORE my TB revas would be so comfortable and my feet have blisters and have ached every time I try to wear them! hehe... Maybe it's just a brand thing? They are cute and all but seriously I think my bloggie friend GRITS said it best when she compared them to an upscale version of Sam N Libby flats with a medallion on the toe! I do like they way they look... but I'm hoping they will break in better.
