Homes To Die For...

I hope that everyone has had a wonderful week. It has been nice and rain-free here in Lexington and I am so thankful. At work this week it has been somewhat dull. I know that acting as the reigning CQ (Cube Queen) sounds like terribly difficult work but I have managed to finish two books and make tons of to-do lists. Stressful, I know but someone has to do it. I find myself day-dreaming of what my perfect career would be and I toss back and ideas of making decadent gift-baskets (my true calling) or being a professional ice cream taster (I can only taste one flavor, and that would be chocolate). When not thinking of dairy products and packing peanuts I sometimes think of going on home tours (there is one coming up in Lexington and I am super excited) and organization (literally the organization of everything, I organized underneath my kitchen sink last week- I was so happy to check it off of my to-do list).

Much more appealing...

When I was in high school I worked at a Real-Estate office and I think that is where my love of homes started. The BF and I have started walking in the evenings with his child (aka the dog) and we each comment on the homes in the neighborhood. I am so very glad that he shares in that interest. I have said before that I love to look at featured homes on the viral version of home magazines and I found several beauties tonight. Thoughts?

I really like the high-top kitchen chairs...

Not so crazy about the color of the island but I love the storage that is has underneath...

Ignore all things about this photo EXCEPT for the chair.
I really like the wingback and the detailed front spindled legs.

What a wonderful patio, being that its glassed in it would be great year-round...

LOVE LOVE LOVE the wicker furniture and the unique ceiling...

I really like heavy dark pieces and this is gorgeous...

ENOUGH pictures...I know, I know. I am so glad that Blogger increased the number of photos per post (when I began the Daily Days the limit was 5. I'm not sure what the limit is now but my photos have yet to be rejected so I can't complain).

My younger sister is coming to visit this weekend and I am super excited to see her. She and her new roommate Jenna will be visiting and I am sure they will make me feel super "OLD" as they are about to graduate and will soon go dorm shopping (tear.... I so wish I was still in college)!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Friday!
LOVE, MKH

I am a secretary a a business and basically all I do is answer the phones, take appointments and make a mean cup of joe every hour and half! haha Wait, I do mail as well....luckily I will be graduating hopefully this time next spring with my "big girl" degree....ok I am rambling, anyhoo - I LOOOVE to look at homes, I have literally sat and watched an enire HGTV marathon on a Sunday before AND I do not know if you know this or not but there is a website that you can go to called: www.lexingtonrealestatesource.com
and sign up to get email alerts (such as I) and everyday they email you new homes with tons of pictures of the inside and what the homes feature in Lexington! I do this at my desk! ; )
