Wedding Recap Part#1

Happy Thursday....Almost (I'm so ready for the weekend:)

My re-entry in to the blogging world has been all but consistent. I have been busy busy with work traveling to parts unknown and am still trying to get used to a routine. In my promise to myself to do justice to all things wedding related I am going to overload you with a barrage of pictures of MKH-G, Husby and friends. The week before the wedding was very relaxed and it was nice to spend a few last days with my friends and family. The week went by very quickly but I am so thankful that I was able to have that time with the special people that were sharing in my special time.

Since a majority of the wedding guests were from out of town I poured over ideas of what special items to include in the out of town gift baskets. Being that the wedding had a Kentucky theme (and since almost half of the guests were from Texas and had never been to KY) I felt that it was fitting to include Kentucky products. We collected most of the items from Sams and we able to put them together in a few hours one morning. I thought that it would be super personal if included in the bucket were items that both Chad and I loved. We included the items listed below.

 Chad's favorite candy...
It was only fitting to have a ring-pop...
Kentucky produced potato chips... Big hit!
My favorite candy

Kentucky Proud Product- Ale8 Ginger Ale

The assembly of the buckets (12piece KFC buckets) went rather quickly. The guests loved them and it was one of the only DIY that I did for the wedding. Photo montage below. Enjoy!

After the buckets were assembled we headed back to the hotel to relax. I was treated to a sweet shower the night before the Bridesmaid Luncheon. It was so nice to take time to enjoy the company of such sweet friends and anytime cupcakes are included it makes everything that much better...

Overall the week before the wedding was filled with love, family and friends. It was a whirlwind and I am so glad that I have the pictures that prove that it actually happened.

I hope everyone has had a great week. Happy Almost Weekend!
LOVE, MKH-G
