Happy Easter!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter. The FIN was in Dallas visiting with his family while Mallory and I traveled to my hometown to celebrate this special day. It was nice to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Before the FIN left on Friday we exchanged Easter baskets. It was the first time that we had exchanged Easter baskets and I am excited to start a new "G-Family" tradition.
Peeps and Bunny Ears...
The FIN's Easter basket...
MKH's Easter basket... Funfetti Cupcakes from the Easter Bunny himself!
The pink grass was even edible...
I know that I have been beyond absent from the blogosphere but we are in wedding overdrive. This coming weekend will be the first weekend that we have not been traveling in the last six weeks. The FIN has been on a plane every other weekend for the last six weeks, and he has even made friends with the local TSA agents (j/k- but the are definitely looking familiar). We have had three wedding showers in the last month and there are tons and tons of pictures. We have been so blessed with friends and family that have been more than generous throughout this entire process and we are more than excited to set up our new home! The pictures below are from the shower hosted by 18 ladies from the FIN's hometown in TX.

The shower munchies were Kentucky themed as were the drinks and the entire set-up was beyond wonderful. It was so nice to think that 95% of these women had never met me but they knew Chad and they were so supportive of this new chapter in our lives. I guess it is true that weddings really bring out the best in people. I will post pictures from the other shower later this week! I hope everyone has a great Monday:)
LOVE, MKH
